The problem with wanting to control everything in our futures is that it prevents us from living mindfully and in the present moment. We can so easily forget about the goodness of the present, or the past, because we are so preoccupied with what might happen next.
We weren't there purely to complain, but instead to seek support from each other - a kind of confirmation that we're both normal, if you like.
